Ask And It Shall Be Given

Action is an art.

It sets apart a plan from a goal. It, as cliché as it might sound, actually turns dreams into reality.

It’s a Give and Take Relationship

In building a steady following or a loyal community, action must not only come from your end. Your community will not be present if one did not have the initiative and take a proactive step to be part of it.

Building a community is an act of reciprocity. It is about building a relationship that’s beneficial to both parties—a symbiotic one.

It Takes Two—or a Whole Community—to Tango

So let me suggest that you do one thing—ask.

Asking from your community can range from the simple asking of questions to asking for bigger favors. If the people around you truly are committed to your cause, or what you stand for, then acting on a few projects or favors shouldn’t be too hard. Ask and you shall receive, my friend.

Remember that the acid test to commitment is if one is willing to sacrifice, either time or resources, to a cause. If one isn’t, then why keep a half-hearted yes?

You exist for a cause. Your cause, in order to achieve magnified results, needs more hands to help. So don’t be afraid to ask. Your community will be very glad to help you out with a thing or two.

If you want to go fast, go alone—but if you want to go far, go together.
